Sources

Want to make stuff but can’t find an ingredient, tool, or other necessary component?  These are a few of my favorite sources.

Abruzzo’s – Like making (or want to make) wine and beer?  Abruzzo’s has your goods.  The gents who work there are friendly and knowledgeable.  Order online or visit them in person in Kent/Brimfield, Ohio.

Lehman’s – If you live close enough to Dalton, Ohio to visit, do yourself a favor and do so.  Their store is immense.  Otherwise, shop online anyway.  They’re also one of few consistent and reliable (though not the cheapest) sources for all things non-electric.  Want to do some canning?  Lehman’s has you covered.  Need oil lamps or gas-powered appliances in case of a power outage?  Got it.  Planning to go off the grid and start a self-sustaining compound in the middle of nowhere?  Handled.  And my personal favorite:  Need a pink, pig-shaped oil barrel grill for your next barbecue?  Yeah, you guessed it!

Majestic Mountain Sage – MMS is the best source for all your body-care creating needs.  In addition to having good, quality ingredients and packaging, they also provide helpful tools (like a lye calculator for soap-making), have a solid blog chock full of recipes, and just generally seem to be nice people.
